Vacation in a house steeped in history – and with people with heart
How it all began
In 1972, Marcus Schneider’s parents built the house, which now houses the Timeout Apartment in the attic.
Around 30 years later, Marcus took over the house after his parents moved to Tenerife. He lived on the three floors of the house for many years with his wife Ina and their two children, Maurice and Valentin.
When the children grew up and began their own lives, Marcus and Ina decided in the spring of 2025 to convert the upper floor, which has its own entrance, into a vacation apartment.
A special place they wanted to share with people who wanted to treat themselves to a break and recharge their batteries.
Thus, the Timeout Apartment was born – a retreat full of peace and relaxation, where everyday life pauses for a moment and time passes a little more slowly.
A Holiday apartment in the Heart of Bad Arolsen
The apartment is in a fantastic location — just a short walk to the Arolsen Residence Palace and the charming downtown with its shops and restaurants. Despite being so central, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, giving you the perfect place to relax. The beautiful Twistesee lake is only a 5-minute drive away, ideal for swimming, walking, or enjoying nature. Plus, with quick access to the main roads (L3078, K7, B252, and B450), you can easily explore Bad Arolsen and the surrounding area.
