Bookings, occupancy calendars, guest communication, and synchronization with various booking platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com) are handled via Smoobu.

  • Booking information (e.g., arrival and departure dates, number of guests)
  • Payment information, if transmitted via booking platforms

Legal basis:
The processing is carried out to carry out pre-contractual measures and to fulfill our contractual relationship in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, as well as to fulfill legal obligations (e.g., the obligation to provide a registration form, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR).

Data transfer to third countries:
When using Stripe, personal data may be transferred to the USA. Appropriate safeguards exist for this transfer within the meaning of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR (e.g., standard contractual clauses).

  • When using PayPal, data may be transferred to companies within and outside the EU. PayPal also uses mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses to ensure an appropriate level of data protection.
